Thriving at Work: A Neurodivergent Perspective

This course invites participants to better understand the workplace through a neurodivergent lens—whether they are neurodivergent themselves or seeking to collaborate better with neurodivergent colleagues, clients, or peers.

The course explores common workplace challenges, communication differences, sensory and cognitive considerations, and the impact of hidden expectations.

Participants gain practical strategies to support thriving—not just coping—including strengths-based reflection & inclusive collaboration.

Designing Inclusive Learning for Neurodivergent Adults

This one-day workshop equips L&D professionals, instructional designers, facilitators, and HR leaders with tools to design inclusive, flexible learning experiences that work for all learners.

Grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and neurodiversity principles, this course explores inclusive learning strategies, multi-modal design, cognitive accessibility, and supportive facilitation techniques.

Participants will walk away with a practical action plan, case study experience, and the confidence to embed neuroinclusion into their learning design practice.

Managing Neurodivergence in the Workplace

As workplaces become more deliberate in enabling inclusivity, managers play a vital role in shaping environments where neurodivergent team members can succeed.

This course builds recognition, practical strategies, and leadership confidence to support neurodivergent employees effectively.

Participants will explore neurodivergent profiles such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and Sensory Processing Disorder, and learn how to adapt communication, adjust workflows, reduce workplace triggers, and advocate for a truly neuroinclusive culture.

"We are extremely happy with the service provided by the Emergent Learning team during the creation of our eLearning module on "Women in Construction." The Emergent Learning team seamlessly guided us through the entire design and development process. They were proactive in mapping out the learning structure and provided flexibility to ensure every step aligned with our objectives. A highlight of working with the Emergent Learning team was their responsiveness and adaptability. Their willingness to listen to feedback and adjust the content ensured the final product was exactly what we envisioned. On top of that, their videography and design skills were exceptional, producing professional, engaging videos that brought the subject matter to life. What really stood out was the team's in-depth research into the topic. Their commitment to understanding the complexities of the subject helped create a module that was not only informative but also impactful and relevant to our audience. Overall, the collaboration was efficient, insightful, and rewarding. We would highly recommend Emergent Learning for their expertise and client-centred approach."
