What is SCORM?

Updated: 3 days ago

Our approach to eLearning Development bridges the gap between raw information and actual workplace performance.

SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model. It is a language that enables an eLearning course object to communicate with the Learner Management System (LMS) it is hosted on to provide data on learner progress such as completion or assessment information.

We use eLearning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise to develop content that is SCORM compliant and compatible with most major LMS platforms.

When we publish a SCORM-compliant eLearning module, either our team or the client LMS administration team upload a zipped version of the files onto the client LMS platform, where the module can be tested to ensure learner data is correctly tracked and recorded.

If you're looking for support to develop effective eLearning courses that are compatible with different LMSs and devices, get in touch with us today to see how we can help.
